Here’s me suddenly waiting for a good deal on a plier wrench.

I haven't even seen a bad deal on a plier wrench.   It's the typical German deal: we know it's perfekt, so either buy it or continue life with your defective non-German tools.  ;)

Thanks. I am feeling fine, no symptoms or anything to speak of, other than frustration. So I should be ok to leave isolation in a few days.

Indeed. I did think they were a bit expensive, but as soon as I got my first, I started ordering more. So far my favorite is the 6" plier wrench.

My plier wrench is the 180mm (7") model, but I do have 100,150,180 and 250mm Cobras), I think I'll get the 100 or the 125mm plier wrench someday  (And I still lack the 125mm Cobra )

Day 12:

Nothing to report on my side, only spent the day working (in front of my PC screens, like everyday), BUT a mini-screwdriver has seen some use today : my wife did use one to open and clean/oil her sewing machine (she knows about the challenge, so she didn't use her Juice S2 for the task but only dedicated tools)

DAY 12  Broke down some boxes with the Danner/Gerber.  FYI, it's a little lighter than the razor knife, and it was free.  Or it was really expensive and the  boots were free.

That's how it goes.  I got a 5" Cobra, then a 7" pliers wrench.  This year it was the needle nose, and the 5" pliers wrench is on my birthday list.

I might be the only person on this site that doesnt have a Wiha tool yet.  Any suggestion on what to get first?

Either this, or their tiny ratchet "go box" which comes with impact rated bits and an extension.

Day 12

Another knife-only day.  I opened a box that contained the first competitor of my New vs Old Micra scissors showdown.  This one is "new" in the box, and has a date stamp of 0401.

I really like the screwdriver. Feels great in the hand, the magazine pops out beautifully, the ratchet action is fantastic.
And it's priced very competitively.
I'll try to get the mini ratchet too.

Day 13:

Used bit drivers to disassemble and repair my Charge XTi with broken peg : an eBay seller had the exact same frame (same time stamp!) so it is a 1-1 repair  :woohoo:

When I asked you about this knife earlier, I almost bought it... I put it in my Amazon cart, but after thinking about it, I thought "I don't need another knife".  I then moved it to "save for later" and I almost deleted it yesterday.

Now, after looking at your pic, I want it again!  Damn, I have a problem.   :ahhh

What makes it funny is that I just realized that I am combining Wiha and Wira tools in my head.  I guess Wira is very popular too.
