The Chronicles of Riddick  2004.  Follow up to Pitch Black.  I didn't like this one so much.  It was long and relied on special effects instead of a good story.  Best wishes.  G

Riddick  2013.  Yeah, I watched all three.  This one was better than the second one.  Less over the top visual nonsense.  Plus, Riddick had a dog in this one.  Sort of a dog.  I'm ready to move on now.  Best wishes.  G

The Eliminator  2004,  I decided to watch this one because it had Bas Rutten and Marco Ruas in it.  Both MMA fighters of the past.  Seemed a little like a made for TV movie.  A Chinese fellow I know calls these things Boom Boom movies.  I usually call them Chop Socky movies.  Watchable.

Morbius  2022.  Another Marvel comics based movie.  Sort of a vampire thing.  Like a lot of the Marvelish offerings, you have to watch until the credits to see little tidbits of extras.  Then about a thousand credits.  It was watchable.  Best wishes.  G

Cul-de-sac  1966. Black and white.  I watched the whole thing, but I can't tell you why.  Best wishes.  G

The Horror of Frankenstein  1970.  I found a site with a whole scadillion of Frankenstein movies.  I had watched part of this thing before.  Something happened and I didn't see the last half.  I looked all over the place and failed to find it.  It had been taken down from the usual places.  Trailers only.  Finally I found a whole copy.  It wasn't very good.
The site had a bunch of other movies.  The Terror of Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Flatulence of Frankenstein, I don't remember all of them.  Maybe I will look for something non-Frankenstein next.  Best wishes.  G

Kiss of the Vampire  1963.   Hammer Production.  Doesn't have Christopher Lee or Peter Cushing.  Entertaining.  Not too long.  Best wishes.  G

Thunderbolts*  2025.  I had no idea what this thing was about.  I wondered if it was about P-47s.  No such luck.  Another Marvel movie.  I tried to think of something good to say about it.  Maybe something will come to me later.  Best wishes.  G

It’s Xmas movie time, yesterday we watched die hard 1 & 2, and since we watched them I’ll finish the series on my time, but today we’re watching “meet me next Xmas” and some Madea movie,

Without Warning  1994.    Some civilization discovers Earth and decided to communicate with us by bombarding the planet with asteroids.  Has real TV newscasters to play their parts as real TV newscasters.  I thought it was very interesting.  Best wishes,  G

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning just became stream-able I think on Paramount Plus.

Mrs. Powernoodle and I have only watched about the first 30 minutes, so my thoughts are subject to change.

But so far, its really terrible

I enjoyed the other Mission Impossible movies for the most part.  But this one - at least so far - has jumped the shark and is not what I would call entertainment.  Its trying too hard to weave the whole MI series into one movie, and the plot is just absurd.  I'm good with absurd plots, but please make it entertaining.

And 63 year old Tom Cruise with his 1965 The Beatles hairdo is sorta irritating, but that's on me.

Preliminary Powernoodle Rating:  2/10.

Jaws of Satan  1981.  Snake movie.  It was watchable.  At least it didn't make me want to throw things and say something ugly.  Lots of the newer movies have that effect.  Almost a made for TV type thing.  Best wishes.  G

Taste the Blood of Dracula  1970.  I thought I had seen all the Christopher Lee vamp movies, but I hadn't seen this one.  Pretty good.  Hammer films are usually entertaining.  Best wishes.  G

Finished Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.  Its still really bad.  2/10.  So stupid it almost not watchable.  Looks like after 8 of these movies, they would know how to do it right.  Apparently not.  Oh well.

The Navy vs. The Night Monsters  1966.  Drive in sort of movie.  Two buddies take two girls who have nothing better to do and want to drink some soda and eat popcorn.  Maybe a little smooch.  Maybe not.  The movie setting appealed to me for some reason.  Monsters on a Navy base located on a small island.  If the girls aren't interested in the movie, at least they can talk to each other.  Better than an evening at home.  Best wishes.  G

Lust for a Vampire  1971.  Hammer studios movie.  Second of the Karnstein trilogy, I believe.  Old Hammer movies are almost always watchable.  So is this one.  Best wishes.  G

The Atomic Submarine  1959. Fake nuclear sub and a space octopus.  Typical sort of stuff they used for filler on Saturday afternoon TV years ago.  Kids could watch cartoons in the morning, then this kind of junk after lunch.  Not a great movie.  Best wishes.  G

Predator Badlands   Pretty good Predator movie. 7.5/10

The story follows Dek, a young exiled Yautja, who crash-lands on a hostile planet and must prove himself worthy of the hunt by killing an apex predator, leading him to form an alliance with Thia, a Weyland-Yutani Corporation android.

Twister, going to watch twisters after, the first is something we watch all the time but this time we’re watching it in 4K rather then Blu-ray, and I have to say OMG, the color is just WHACK!
