Whittled a little spear point with the Evolution S17 today.
Nice sharp blade makes the task effortless.  Easily sliced away the many branch and knots to carve away a relatively smooth straight spear.

Day 16
Transition day!  I'll be putting away the serrated Highlander and carrying the L.L.Bean Swiss Sportsman for the rest of the month.  I have missed the scissors.  We'll see if this works out.

Day 15/30

Opened a tasty Austrian bicyclist.

Hahaha!

@rizio, I'll carry some watchmakers next week some day when bottle opening is not anticipated!

Day 16
I was using my yellow/black Camo Delémont in the garage today but no pics. I left it in the garage but was too lazy to go get it to open a Carlsberg for me when my fly fisherman was in the room next to me.  I found this one in the camping box sometime after the first Mrs. Tet and I got divorced.  There's a good ex-wife joke in there somewhere, but I just can't make it, we didn't work out but I can't say anything bad about her.  I took a shot to show the flat Phillips if anyone hasn't seen it.  If you zoom in you can see a picture of a Phillips screw, just in case the owner didn't know what to do with it.  (You can also see Mrs. Tet #1's initials she scratched into the scale

Day 16:

Main blade got used to cut up half an onion (no pic). Later the awl got used to open a parcel.

The awl seems a bit small on this knife. I know it is the same as the awl on the 91mm's, but it seems awkwardly small in this frame. Might just be a matter of perspective. It certainly works well enough.

Day 16: opened some parcels.

Some diecast cars  from a member on another forum, and the Xbox One Wireless adapter.  I don't get Microsoft's mentality with the XBOX One controller and Windows 10. I've had wired ones for years (dating back to the XBOX 360 era) that worked fine on PC; and were usually cheap third-party branded controllers. The XBOX One controller is almost $60; and while it's Bluetooth and my PC recognizes it, you can't play games unless it's connected via USB. To use it wirelessly, you've got to spend $15 on another plug that should've been included in the box with the $60 controller in the first place. However, it does work. This will be the first and last official controller I buy.

Most of mine are slated to be sold. I really need to quit procrastinating on that!

Day 16

Late entry, by a minute or two. Opened and immediately broke down and discarded this box. It contained Sophie's kitten food.
USN 2000-2006

Culling of the knife and multi herds in progress...

This is no water dragon (refering to a photo Echo shared in a previous challenge), but here is one of the two varieties of lizard (green anole) that I see around homes in my area:

Very nice collection and variety from the early soldier models. :like:

One quick dumb question to all earlier soldier collectors: how do you differentiate between 'fibre' vs 'celluloid'?  From the shrinkage and green rust, I knew a few of them must be celluloid, but I just can't tell them apart just by look.  Any easy way to tell them apart?

That's some weird design for what supposed to be a wireless controller, and almost highway robbery.

Comis you’re quite right well spotted :hatsoff:

For the last 18 months since the fires I’ve made a point of stopping at the exact same place and climbing a rock up to this spot so I can record the recovery of the bush. It’s getting better, there’s some canopy now for the first time

Not sure you can tell from the photos below but in the first one, where it’s still recovering it’s very scrubby and in the second that escaped the fires much more lush with much thicker bush…it’s a stunning walk down there

Wenger Zermatt.  I got it because the few Wenger only tools displayed here: carabiner, clip point blade, non-sharpen awl, Wenger can opener, nail file, and funkiest yet--the duplicate of inline philips vs backside phillips.

Was multitasking so I wasn’t able to take action pics.

Used the scissors to cut the string stitching the rice sack the used the pliers to assist in untying the plastic bag holding the rice grains.

These "child resistant" blister packs are proving to be surprisingly adult resistant too!  :D  (Really boring but I'd still got the old Commander in my pocket).
