 I hit it lucky with the chili Dan!  There was enough in the accessories bag to really give it some kick.  Looking back, I should have snapped a pic for the Chili thread
Now you have me craving MREs, Barry!

Need to catch up. I've been moving furniture and starting the seasonal swap-out of the clothes drawers.

Shorts and swim trunks out--sweatpants in. Also got most of the coats out of the closest and in the coat rack.

Day 11:

Moved dresser and organized the two mini toolboxes--red US General is EDC, blue Kobalt contains various small tools mostly used for light-duty household chores. Need to get my Kobalt Tool Check clone reorganized and put back in there--along with multiple 10mm sockets in the Kobalt "Essential" kit stored in the first drawer.

Cooking--clean out the freezer before the next Sam's run edition....

I found pizza pockets that expired in January....

Day 13:

Not much, other than light cutting.

Swapped to an old Ulster (think this is one of the late ones Camillus made for Schrade in the '70s or '80s) Boy Scout, along with the new Gerber LST

Day13
Cut my lunch, an sub from the gas station.

Fortunately, this gas station gets its pre-packed food from the deli of the grocery chain its attached to, so its actually edible.

Day 13
Wood cutting for outdoor coffee.  I wouldn’t normally baton with a small folding knife but figure I would compare the Boker and Armbar.  The win goes to the Armbarbecause the lock and blade profile worked better, however, the Boker is still the better tool in my opinion.

Today is a day to show an SAK-Alike with the real thing. The Evo 23 was a birthday gift from Mrs. FX, and she would have celebrated her birthday today.
Beautiful thought amigo.

I don't "need" to expand mine but it's fun doing so.

That's a beautiful looking Boker.

No actual usage today as I had to work and I felt like death warmed over all day.  This cold is kicking my wife and myself.

Day 14

Craftsman multi with a Dollar Tree cheapie.  The silver thing has features of both a Spartan and a Tinker.  Corkscrew of sorts, and a Phillips driver.  That might make it either a Sparker, or maybe a Stinker?  Stinker describes the mostly worthless tools.  Scissors with no sizzle.  File that can't file anything.  It does take a fairly nice photo, however.
The deer are pitching in on the Werecoyote Trail grounds maintenance chores.  I saw a couple of teams working together yesterday.  Five in one group.  Some youngsters with their first antlers were still with their little family group.  Won't be long before they are standing around on a street corner trying to look tough.  Slicked back hair.  Cigarette hanging from a smirking mouth.  Watching the cuties walk by and saying stuff like, "You been waiting all your life for a buck like me, babe-a-licious.   Hows about a ice cream?"
Best wishes.  G

Does the square shank mean the Swiza can take a bit adapter from Leatherman/Gerber/Roxon? I thought I had one, but I can't find it. Maybe I traded it to one of you? I think it was the reddish/orange Tinker analogue.

Day 14

The 1/4 hex does fit bits (loaned here from a Rangergrip Boatsman). It'd be horrible to use (I think it's actually meant to use as a wrench for nuts that size.) I awlso dug out an old square shank Super Tinker. It will take the Gerber adapter, but not the Leatherman one. Bring back the square shank with file, Vic!

Since we.'ve seen a few marlin spike British army knives and Aussies, I decided to take a break from the Imperial and show a cousin of those Sak alternatives today.

The Myerco Sailor

This thing just adds a shackle key shackle key but at the cost of the extended liner screwdriver. I have it on a really long lanyard, with a set of keyring screwdrivers. I originally got it for the marlin spike when I was learning paracord crafts and it spent a few years in with my paracord stuff.
Now it is often my 'lounging around the house in shorts, don't want to be fully kitted' knife.
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.

You did. I've been using it throughout this challenge. And did you show a hospital wrist band? If so, hope it was nothing serious.

Hope AzteCypher is feeling better, too!

Day 14

For once, the camera on my old Galaxy A11 made blue Alox look good! I will be carrying this Bantam every time 14 September rolls around.

I awlso used the Swiza to open a bottle of Jarritos...a small treat to celebrate getting another year older.

Happy Birthday amigo!  I'm better today as well, thanks!  I don't hurt like I did yesterday.  Wife is finally feeling a bit better as well.

Day 14

Had to take the wife to the ER today.  Turns out she had thrush.  They gave her some pain meds and something to cure the thrush.  She's finally able to eat and drink without too much pain.  The Mikov came in handy to cut off her hospital bracelet.

Day 14

A travel from home to an event and now returning.

Use of my SAK-A-LIKE, was not required and not on purpose, I did not grap my selected candidate.🥺

Still traveling back home, (not driving), I am now a passenger. 😉

I have standard bag EDC, a SAK Compact and LM Bond. Afraid a photo flash will cause a startle to companions, so selecting a pic from the library :dunno:

Day 15

Halfway point.  I use my Dollar Tree multi to peel apples and such.  Girls used to peel apples years ago and use them for fortune telling.  If a young lady could peel an apple without breaking the peel, she could make a wish to know who she would marry.  Then she would drop the peel on the floor to augur the letter of her beau's first name.  More often than not, it would make a sort of letter J.  John, Jerry, Jack, Joseph, or someone similar could be the one to make her little heart go pitty pat.
     Best wishes.  G

All good, it was just a 21+ wrist band so the vendors knew I was good to serve at a street fair (if the grey hairs in my beard weren't enough). Happy Birthday!

Sounds like a couple other people are having some health issues though, so best of luck for good recoveries, awl.
