Day 13

Sometimes it's hard to get an action shot. Your either unable to have a free hand, or you'll look strange. Used the Arc today to remove a broken pole on a child shipping cart. Carried all this and that's all I got. In my defense I'm acting as store manager and it was inventory today. $600,000 worth of merchandise counted. Ugh

Day 13

A very rare outing for the Victorinox Swisstool today.

I don’t dislike it, and it’s obviously very well made, but I really struggle to get any of the blades or tools out with my chewed fingernails.

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

The usual Leathermans kept it company, a Raptor and a Micra both living in the pockets of my work hi-via for night shifts.

I really need to carry my Swisstool, it's so neglected. Circa 2000

MTO Anniversary Challenge
Day 13 of 30

Sadly, this magnifying glass is part of my EDC a lot more that I'd like to admit.
:like:

I need to get me a magnifying glass for my carry. I'm up to bifocals these days.

This is one of the reasons I like the Yeoman so much a d so sad they discontinued it.  Some say the SAK magnifying glass is worthless.  To me, little extra magnification built into an item I’m already carrying and always have at hand makes it perfect.  I also like the Swisscard Lite for similar reason.

Day 13

Some outdoor cooking gear. Canteen cup, Lodge skillet (and camping dutch oven hidden at the bottom) a kettle and percolator. Taught a little campfire cooking class at camp today and made crumbles, cobblers, and drinks.
Outdoor cooking is a fun activity and fun to see what different things people can create.  I especially like to watch some of the Firebox Stove videos on YouTube.  It is amazing some of the stuff he makes.  Plus watching camping with dogs and goats is just uniquely interesting.

Day 13

These are my yardwork beaters.

(Image removed from quote.)
Nice combination

Day 14

I'll wear my teeth today.
The ability to change out the blade is a nice draw.  I wish more companies would make more modular tools.

Added a tritium vial to the tail switch of my Noctigon KR4 flashlight.  Then went outside to play with it in the dark.

Day 13:
It's been the upper 90s and 100 for the last week, and the kids have been getting the most out of our $25 Walmart pool. I've been sitting in the shade on the deck playing lifeguard and whittling on a stick that fell out of one of our cottonwood trees. Just making curls. I plan on letting them dry out and mixing them with some wax and paraffin oil for fire starter.

Swisstool X used today to help install screws for large metal pics. I also used the blade to open a clamshell package.

Day 14

I picked up these multi-tools to perhaps try for the Off Brand MultiTool badge and because they looked interesting.  In practice, I can't say they are as "carryable" as other multitools but they are definitely conversation starters.  On the left is the Kilimanjaro Magnus and on the right is the Stanley 10 in 1 Axe & Multi Tool.  My Minichamp for scale.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

Day 14

I always carry a multitool of some kind, usually a Leatherman, but in truth, the one thing I use on every single night shift is my headtorch, a Petzl Tactikka.

Day 14: the Knipex pliers wrench is such a handy tool! I keep this one in my desk drawer at home and it has saved me many times from having to go downstairs to the basement to get a wrench. I also use it to mount new Celidor scales on my SAKs, because the jaws apply parallel pressure like a vice. I also got a 250mm version in my toolkit, however the 180mm version is usually enough and is more ergonomic to use.

Day 14
Everyday ancient Casio watch.  Pen is something I found.  I like the color.  Both are sitting on something I regularly take with me.  A little Igloo cooler.  I use those little blue reusable ice bottle things in it.
I was going to use this photo as a default mini challenge picture.  Why waste it?  I had a Playmate cooler before this one, but I didn't like it.  You remember the type.  Handle is built into a peak that is the lid?  Best wishes.  G

Day 6 Makeup

When I used to use these flat pencils always had to sharpen them with a knife.  Then this large sharpener was discovered.  Pencil bliss!

Too cool, Barry.  Just too cool.  How about a photo of the thing opened up?  Some time.  I have a Swiss+Tech that looks a lot like that.  I have actually used it some.  Thought about putting it on a coat as a zipper pull, but it is annoying and flopped around.  Best wishes.  G

I got one plier wrench, and then I got three more sizes. I was absolutely impressed with how much I could do with it, and how easily. Crimping, bending, straightening, turning, tightening, cracking, even holding bits to drive screws. I love them. My favorite is the 160mm. :salute:
