I watched ‘Willow’ from 1987, remember watching this on HBO as a kid. Nostalgia for sure... rate it a 6
I remember that, some of it was filmed in New Zealand.

Angel Has Fallen 9/10 Really good action movie and as good as the first two in the series.

Toy Story 4 9/10

I recently watched the ‘has fallen’ trilogy. They were all pretty good.

The Head Hunter (2018)
10/10
This is an amazing film. The atmosphere, the creepiness of it all, the lead actor's performance was flawless, the story is simple and told well, no bells and whistles. What a breath of fresh air.  :like:

Decent horror movie. Great performances from the leads. Nice atmosphere, tension, and a simple plot that works.
I particularly liked the ending.

Fantastic. The action, the performances, the pacing, the jokes, I loved everything about it. One of the most enjoyable movies I've ever seen.

1917 - 8/10  :tu:
A very good war story, recommended if you are in the mood for one.
I just watched it and really enjoyed it.
9/10 from me.

I went to see it on Saturday. Personal rating would be a generous 4/10. Although beautifully shot, and well acted, everything else was piss poor
:kirky:

I had started watching a movie the other day called 303 Squadron which is awful so far. It changes scenes too quickly and they are jumping all over the place chronologically. The aerial scenes are so blatantly CGI.
It's about Polish pilots fighting with the RAF during World War 2 if anyone is interested. I stopped about a quarter of the way through and I don't think I can continue.

Abominable 2020
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10674930/

1/10
Abominable indeed. Terrible dialogue, performances, effects, everything. It takes itself so seriously, yet the dialogue and actions are just ridiculous, worse than the cheesiest soap opera.
And the bigfoot costume, oh my. If you are on a low budget why show the creature so much? And full body? I feel more frightened by Fuzzbucket's avatar.
There are better bigfoot movies out there. Skip this.

We watched the new “Godzilla” movie, the king of monsters, the Mrs was losing it she was so bored, me it was still action but still sucked, I’d give it a Err 3/10

Yet the movie channel is free this week and the wife and I just watched “weird science” like OMG, Robert Downey JR, and Bill Paxton, soo young!

Watch the trailer for this too, usually I'm all in for B movie.  But this standard looks sub-B movie.

I think the Hellboy series is pretty cool and interesting, just like the Watchmen.  The recent Watchmen tv show is a real blast, highly recommended.

I usually have a pretty good time watching anything JJ Abrams, but this one felt like "Lost".  Great beginning, but somewhere in the middle it just start losing momentum.  Bascially it is pretty well made B-rated movie.

Tom cruise in a non-typical role (at least for the first part). Excellent story, good CGI. Cool aliens and some seriously freaky time-bending stuff.
