Nice pipe and Zippo Alan!
The pipe is a Kaywoodie?
Not a Kaywoodie, this one is a La Rocca Speciale, made in Italy.

Nice use, do you think this is a lot more aggressive than the LM ones?  :tu:

Definitely. This BAK has the most assertive can opener I've used. I would say it is overkill.....unless opening a 55-gal drum is required......

But I guess they didn't want any thing to get between a 'Tommy' and his or her tea.......  :dunno:

DAY 15

Got home to find Mrs Surge had gone to the office (her boss is back from Italy  :ahhh )

I took the opportunity to wrap a couple of Christmas presents assisted by the FX with its slim blade & scissors)  :tu:

The opened box is her advent calendar (a make up/beauty type thing  :dunno: )

Sounds like a relaxing day  :tu:

EDC 15:

The 58's scissors got tasked with opening a package of almonds for a mid-morning snack:

The BAK liberated a lunchtime beverage:

Hello day 15 .
Package opening time but unfortunately not a very exciting  package unless you like doing concrete trials.  Busy doing some work on more enviro friendly cement products. A day of donkey work but interesting enough.

Sounds like a relaxing day  :tu:
It was a relaxing afternoon until the whirlwind, that is Mrs Surge, descended upon the household  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Apparently, there had been much gesticulation and use of colourful expletives (Italian thing  ::) ) whilst at work.

This is in no way unusual and all was normal after I'd furnished "herself" with a glass, or several, of Prosecco

 :drink: :drink: :drink:
They don't like it up 'em!

Day 16

Bit wet here in Sydney so did seem a trifle odd having sunnies with me on the dog walk, no more than a mini folded backpack I suppose :dunno:

It’s been at least 2 days between Coco pics so … :)

Stick? Where?

Day 15

Today the hero of the day was the MP600
It helped me to tighten the screw on the handle of wife's favorite frying pan!

(Double bonus! I also found in the bottom of one kitchen drawer her Vic Signature)

After all, I and MP600 took some time to apreciate a espresso.

Later a storm caused a one hour blackout.
The Maglite was used in the candle mode.

Day 15
Lots of tool use today. Dedicated tools as well as MT’s. Whatever was close at hand. Here are a few examples:

MP400 cut a broken screw. Also used the file to smooth it, and get it ready for patching and sanding.

Pioneer removed some switch covers. Love working with the Pioneer. It feels very rewarding  :like:

Awl sliced duct tape. Gotta love that awl  :tu:

Day 15
Today was mainly a Spirit day.  Used the spirit to get some tags off a couple new clothing items before washing.  I used the Spirit to cut a cantaloupe.  Do to the curve on the serrated blade, that couldn’t be used for the intial cutting open, but decided to try on cutting into smaller pieces.  A nice pull cut through the rind effortlessly.  There was also opening the day 3 beer

Very true Nix :iagree: it’s out now (along with 91% humidity) so we just sneaked in another quick walk.

Coco’s nearly 11 and has slowed right down these days so isn’t able to go that far anymore …the opposite of a few years ago

Hello day16.
Not sure if this is technically a change in EDC but the new phone is now sorted. . Will still always have the phone though.  Day 16 pic of the old phone. The missing bits allowed water ingress so screen was past it  .
