Yikes, so close to a Flush!  A pair of nine for a SAK and a MT, a great improvement than just a Fixie from the Queen of Spade.

 :ahhh  So close!

I think this means the comis wins the Gummy Bear Round!

Well played, comis, well played!

Now that’s a carry to my preferences! Would love to replicate that if the S2 wasn’t such unobtanium.

Day 8

(Image removed from quote.)

Didn't get a chance to use the Spirit MX after the cards swap today, but was using this as an opportunity to think about EDC carry:

I am thinking how to approach my non-challenge EDC, like layers of clothing--
Base layer: SAK Mountaineer (4 layers, 102g)
2nd layer:  SAK Mountaineer + Knipex Cobra XS (162g)
3rd layer:   Spirit MX (one hand opening blade, pliers + other tools, 215g)

You must live in harsh climate, my friend

Day 08
Carry for week two.  It was starting to feel like the loaded pockets challenge when I was picking out what to carry.  For my SAK I switched the Cybertool L (CT-41) for last week's Champion so I have more tool options, particularly the pliers and the long driver.  For the trad I switched the Colonial Electrician knife for the Kershaw Jack mostly because I've been looking for an excuse to carry it since I received it from LoopCutter but also because it fits in my pocket pouch with the CT-41 without rattling.  I've opted for a modern folder instead of a second trad and I chose one of my favorites, a second gen Myerchin titanium rigging knife, chosen because it is lightweight.  Even with the marlin spike it weighs less than comparably sized steel framed knives.  For the fixed blade knife I've gone with a Buck Paclite skinner 140 because I have a Kydex neck sheath for it as another means to keep the weight off my belt.  I haven't carried this heavy in months.

Yeah...it saddens me that the Juice line is being dropped. Handy little tools, easy to carry.  :'(

You do realize that you do not have to carry all the tools; they are just your options

Your hand determines which tools you CAN carry, but not must carry. If you end up with one of each, you can carry one, two, or all four for that period. So a high hand pays off in term of having flexibility and choices.   ;)

Now, if you end up with just one tool, say a SAK, you must choose one SAK from your collection and use that one SAK for the period in question. Rotating through a bunch of tools from one category is not permitted. So chose wisely!   :ahhh

Apparently New York is theme of this week's carry.
Looks that way. You're gonna like that TL-29, I bet!

My favorite method is with an Aeropress.  A single wall steel or titanium French Press is also nice especially if you go camping and make coffee for more than one.  I also recommend the Primula Brew Buddy for travel or emergency.
I must get at least one of those...

Good choice!  I have both the titanium Captain and the titanium Crew.  I love them for the marlin spike, and usually have one with me when camping.  They are also easy to clean and of course pretty much impervious to moisture.  I’m not as big a fan of the blade shape and the steel is only just OK, but I do appreciate that they are OHO & OHC.  I also consider them inexpensive enough not to cry too hard if I had to replace one.

Day 9:
Testing a new set-up for moonclip holders for next season.
3 towers directly in front and 1 on hip side instead of previous 2 plus 2. After some testing I reckon I’ll go back to previous, seems more natural.

MicroHawk sitting nicely though.

I think within LM offerings, Juice is a nice line that I really wish they didn't cut it, especially the simpler version such as S2.
